우리들 이야기

우리교회에는 헌신된 충성스러운 분들이 많아서 참 감사합니다. 그런 형제 자매를 잘 훈련시키고 격려하고 각자의 은사를 찾아서 사역하도록 돕는 것이 저의 역할입니다. 우리 교회의조직은, 당회, 집사회, 그리고 ‘사역개발 위원회’가 있습니다. 그 중에 각 사역 개발위원회에서 섬기는 분을 간사라고 합니다. 이 개발 위원회는 사역이지 어떤 직분은 아닙니다. 그래서필요하면 간사를 세우고, 그 사역이 필요가 없거나 헌신된 사람이 없으면 언제든 사역을 정리할 수도 있습니다. 몇 가지 구체적인 교회 사역과 그 일꾼을 세우는 것이 필요한 것을 느꼈습니다. 

그래서 4분의 간사를 세우려고 합니다. 첫째, 새 가족 사역은 단순히 주일 예배에 오는 교회 식구들에게 인사하는 정도가 아니라, 안내, 예배 담당자 준비, 필요시 심방 전화 등의 다양한 사역이 있어 따로 구별할 필요를 발견했습니다. 그래서 지금까지 새가족부에서오래 사역하던 윤영숙 자매님을 간사로 임명하였습니다. 친교사역은 모든 행사에 친교(식사,간식,장식 등)가 필요한데 막상 준비 모임에 담당하는 자매님이 없으니 이중으로 소통해야 했었습니다. 그래서 현재 친교사역을 하는 이지희 자매를 간사로 임명합니다.

글로벌 가정교회 사역은 대외적으로 가정교회 목회자들이나 교회를 지원하고 섬기고 가정교회 정신을유지하는데 필요할 것 같아서 작년부터 기도하며 준비한 영역입니다. 이정석 형제가 헌신하여 임명하였습니다. 의료 사역은 우리 교회에 어르신들과 젊은 분들 중에서 병원진단을 받아도 정확히 무슨 뜻인지 어떻게 준비해야 할 지 모르는 분들이 많다는 점과 의료 선교가 많은선교지에서는 효과적이기 때문에 앞으로 잘 준비하면 열매가 많을 것이라는 점이 있어 고려했습니다. 지금 의료 간사로 헌신하실 분이 있으면 임명하려고 합니다.

I am very grateful that our church has many committed members. It is my responsibility to train those brothers and sisters so that I may discover their respective talents and support them to do the ministry. Our church is task organized into three committees- Session(Elders), Lay Leaders Committee (Deacons and Elders), and Ministry Development Committee (Directors). A director is one who serves the of ministry department. This director is a ministry, not a title. So that we appoint a director if needed. We may scale back those ministries when we no longer needed them. I felt a need to appoint 4 more directors for some specific church ministries.

First, the Newcomer ministry is not just to greet those who come to Sunday Worship services, but we identified that there is need for ushering, preparing, and supporting members who are assigned to the worship agenda, and arranging a phone call visitation if needed.

So that we appoint our sister Young-SookYoun, who has been serving in Newcomer Department for a long time, as a director. For Fellowship Ministry, all church event requires a fellowship (meal, snack, decoration, etc). But we experienced unnecessary double communication since we didn't have a director for preparation meetings for those events. So we are appointing Ji-Hee Lee as director for the fellowship ministry. I prayed about the Global HC ministry from last year because it was deemed necessary to keep the spirit of HC. This ministry supports and serves those HC leaders and HCs externally. Jeong-seok Lee is committed to this cause, and we appointed him. We are considering starting a Medical Ministry. It is because we have many members who are not sure about medical diagnoses/terminologies and how to prepare for it. Alsomedical ministry is very effective in many mission fields, So if we prepare it right, there will be many fruits for this ministry. If there is someone who would like to dedicate and commit, we would like to appoint that member as a medical ministry director.
