우리들 이야기

교회의 일년 계획을 2023년부터 제가 세우고 있는데, 김인기 파송 목사님이 세웠던 2022년 일정표를 거의 그대로 하되 날짜만 바꾼 것입니다. 그리고 제가 담임목사가 되고 난 후에 새롭게 하는 일들을 추가했는데, 예를 들면, 7월에 어린이 목자 컨퍼런스를 하는 것, 총목자모임을 2달 마다 토요일 오전에 모이는 것, 2달 마다 수요 성령집회를 하는 것, 매달 마지막 주 수요일에 목녀를 위한 PT모임, 말씀잔치를 1년에 봄과 가을에 두 번을 하는 것, 초원모임을 남목사 집에서 모이는 것, 남목사가 다른 교회 집회를 가게 되는 것 등입니다.  그래서, 금년 계획을 작년 12월에 다 정했지만, 진행하다 보니 일정이 겹치는 경우도 있고, 김목사님이나 추천하시거나 이전에 하다가 팬대믹으로 못했던 일들을 하게 되기도 합니다. 그래서 형제자매님들에게 부탁하고 싶은 것은 그렇게 일정이나 시간이 부득이하게 바뀌어도 이해해 주시기 바라는 것입니다. 

저는 계획을 세우고 그대로 하는 것이 마음이 편한 사람입니다. 그런데 같은 날 두개의 행사나 모임이 겹치는 경우도 생기는 것 같습니다. 너무 부담을 주지 않고 싶어서 안 모이려고 했지만, 그렇다고 하지 않을 수 없는 모임들 입니다. 그래서 3월-4월에도 몇 개를 수정하게 되었습니다. 예를 들면, 원래 3월 2일 저녁 6시에 계획한 간사 모임을 오전 8시로 바꾸어야 했습니다. 또, 3월 11일부터 5일간 하기로 했던 세겹줄 기도회를 하지 않으려고 하는 이유는 지금 다니엘 금식을 21일 동안하고 있고, 3월 25일부터 5일간 사순절 매일 한끼 금식을 하기 때문입니다. 정확한 시간과 방법은 정해지지 않았지만, 4월에 전직 가수였던 하덕규 목사님을 모셔서 VIP초청 찬양집회를 하는 것을 고려하고 있습니다. 일정을 수정하는 것에 대한 미안함도 있지만, 비전교회의 신앙성장과 영혼구원을 위한 것임을 이해하고 따라와 주시기 바랍니다.

 I am planning church annual events from 2023 - this is based on our church 2022 plan from commissioned Pastor, Rev Inki Kim with minor changes to the dates. After I became a senior pastor, I added some new events (For Example: the Children HC leader's conference in July, bi-monthly All HC leaders meeting on Saturday, bi-monthly Wednesday Holy Spirit Gathering, PT Meeting on every last Wednesday of the Month for HC leader's spouse, Biblical Seminar semiannually in the spring and fall, and Regional HC leaders meeting in Pastor Nam's house, Pastor Nam to visit other churches as a guest speaker, etc). Hence, despite we finished this year's calendar planning last December, there still is a conflict as we execute the plan, also we may add new events based on Rev. Kim's recommendation and those events we held off during Pandemics. So I am asking for your understanding if there is a change to the agenda as well as schedule changes in the church event. 

I feel personally more comfortable when things move as planned. But sometimes there are two events in the calendar on the same day. I have tried to cancel the event as it might appear to be burdensome, but those are important events that can't be held off. So we have made a couple of changes in the March-April church calendar. For example, we have moved the Lay leader's meeting from March 2, 6 PM to 8 AM on the same day. Also, we are planning to cancel the 5-day three-stranded prayer starting March 11. The reason behind this cancellation is due to we are in the middle of 21 days of Daniel Fasting prayer and there is another one-meal fasting during Lent for 5 days starting March 25th. Also, we are considering inviting Rev Deok-gyu Ha, who is a former singer, and host a VIP invitational Praise night - we are still planning for a detailed time and event agenda. I do apologize for the changes to our calendar, but please understand and follow as this is for Vision Church's spiritual growth and saving souls.
