우리들 이야기

[한인교회]로 머물러 있으면 불편한 것이 없을 것입니다. 그런데 예수님께서 마28장18-20절에서 하라고 하신 ‘모든 민족을 제자로 삼는’ 교회를 만들려면 도전과 변화가 필요합니다. 첫째, 가장 중요한 것은 비전 식구들의 마음이 모든 민족교회로 변화되어야 합니다. 한인만을 찾아  목장이나 교회에 초대하는 좁은 마음을 버려야 합니다.  예수님께서 피로사서 세운 교회는 모든 민족을 위한 것임을 모두가 마음속으로 계속 기억해야 합니다. 지난 주간 [초청전도훈련]을 통해서 그 가능성과 필요성을 배웠습니다.  둘째, 다양한 언어를 사용하는 예배나 성경공부나 목장 모임과 문서와 주보에 익숙해 져야 합니다. 예배 중에 찬양과 설교와 기도제목과 간증등을 최소한 영어와 중국어와 스페인어와 한글을 같이 하려고 합니다. 이 네가지 언어를 선택한 이유는 올랜도 근처에 중국인이 한인보다 더 많은 2만명이 넘고 잘 세워진 교회가 없기 때문입니다.  

스페인어만 할 수 있는 많은 형제자매들을 매일 만납니다. 이곳은 미국이기 때문에 당연히 영어를 사용해야 합니다. 무슨 언어를 사용하든 하나님을 떠난 영혼을 가리지 말고 섬겨야 합니다. 영어권 하베스트 교회가 있어서 우리의 자녀들과 영어를 사용하는 가족들이 많은 은혜를 받고 있습니다.  그럼에도 비전교회가 전도하고 섬긴 형제자매들과 비전교회에서 배우기 원하는 사람들이 있기 때문입니다. 또한 모든 민족 교회가 잘 되면, 하베스트 교회에 가기를 원하는 분에게는 선택권을 줄 것이기 때문에 하베스트에도 유익합니다. DL목사님과도 이 부분에 대해서 이야기를 나누었습니다. 셋째, 우리 모두는 좀더 배려와 희생이 필요합니다. 주일에 찬양을 선택할 때도 영어가사가 꼭 있어야 하고, 파워포인트로 네 언어를 준비해야 하고, 통역을 해야하고, 모든 민족을 목장에 초대하고 환영하는 섬김과 희생이 있어야 합니다. 그 목적은 주님이 원하시는 모든민족을 위한 교회를 만드는 것입니다.

t would be comfortable if we stay as [Korean Church]. But we must face challenges and change if we want to transform into a Church of All Nations, making "Disciples of all nations" as Jesus told us to do in the Book of Matthew 28:18-20. First, all church family members of Vision Church must shift to All Nations Church. We must let go of a narrow mind that only cares for Korean Americans and only invites people of Korean origin to church or HC. We must remind ourselves that the Church Jesus built with His blood is for all people. Last week we learned the possibility of the necessity of this cause throughout [invitational Envangelism Training]. Second, We must be comfortable with multi-language church pamphlets and documents as well as multi-language worship services, Bible studies, and HC meetings. Also, we are planning to praise, worship, share testimony/sermons, and pray in a minimum of English, Chinese, Spanish, and Korean simultaneously. There are about 20,000 Chinese-speaking people in Orlando which is way more than Korean-speaking people living in Orlando however, there is not a well-organized church for them- that is the reason why we chose these four languages. 

We met many brothers and sisters who only speak Spanish daily. This is America, so we need to speak English here. We must serve those souls who left God no matter what language they may speak. Our children and our English-speaking families receive much grace from God, all thanks to our Harvest Church. Despite Harvest church, there are still people who want to serve and learn from Vision Church- usually, they are those who came to church because of Vision Church. If the Churches of All Nations is well, this would be beneficial to Harvest church as some may choose to attend Harvest. I shared this with Paster DL. Third, we need more care and sacrifice for others. We need your time and labor to translate and prepare PowerPoint slide show in four different languages. Also, we need English Lyrics during Sunday Worship Praise time. Also, we must dedicate and commit ourselves to inviting, welcoming, and serving all people from different national origins to our churches and HCs. The intent is to build the Church of All nations that our Lord wishes.
